Waikare Gorge Realignment – Pou Arahi

This is a Professional Services contract for Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) who is delivering the Waikare Gorge Realignment Project (SH2), a resilience-focused project involving a new 4km realignment and major bridge structure north of Napier.

The project is being delivered in partnership with iwi and requires strong cultural leadership to ensure tikanga Māori is appropriately embedded across all stages of the project.

This RFT seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced provider to undertake the role of Pou Ārahi for the project.

The Pou Ārahi will provide strategic cultural leadership, support iwi engagement, and guide the integration of mātauranga Māori and tikanga into project delivery.
