Kaitaia Recycling & Recovery Centre - Bridge

Far North District Council invites tenders for the replacement of the Kaitaia Recycling Centre bridge, located off Church Road, Kaitaia. This bridge provides the sole access to the district's recycling and transfer station and is a critical asset supporting high daily traffic volumes, including light vehicles, medium trucks, and truck-and-trailer units.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Earthworks
• Demolition of the old structure
• Construction of timber pole retaining walls
• Supply and installation of stormwater elements, headwall, riprap, and geotextile
• Pavement works
• Supply and installation of bridge elements, piling, abutments, bridge beams, and utility ducting
