Penrith City Council is excited to announce the return of Real Festival in 2026!
Join us on Friday 11 September, Saturday 12 September, and Sunday 13 September at Tench Reserve, Jamisontown for one of Western Sydney’s signature arts and culture events.
Real Festival brings the riverbank to life with free outdoor performances, interactive games, food trucks, and public art installations, drawing thousands of visitors from across the region. We are now seeking innovative, high‑quality creative works to help shape the 2026 program.
Expressions of Interest Are Now Open For:
- Immersive, site-specific temporary art installations
- Large-scale light-based interactive works
- Creative workshops for kids, families, youth, or adults
2026 Theme: Flight
All submissions must demonstrate artistic excellence and clearly respond to the 2026 event theme, Flight.
Preference will be given to artists and creatives located in the Penrith LGA or Greater Western Sydney, and collaborations are encouraged.
