Tender Description
Transport for NSW requires a suitably experienced Independent Certifier to provide Independent Certifier Services for the Garfield Road East Upgrade Project.
Project goals
The Garfield Road East Upgrade Project requires the services of an Independent Certifier to support the delivery of the main works contract. The Independent Certifier will be responsible for independently certifying that the works comply with the requirements of the D&C Deed and provides design and construction certification for the key stakeholders of the Project where required by TfNSW.
Interested parties are invited to register their interest to participate in this procurement process and receive the Request for Tender documentation via an external electronic data room (Ansarada).
To successfully register, interested parties must complete and return the following documents by the end date of this advertisement to the contact officer via email at Tejas.Mistry@transport.nsw.gov.au:
- Complete and execute the Corporate Confidentiality Deed Poll; and
- The Tenderer confirms it has the required experience, and during the RFT will demonstrate its experience in the provision of independent certifier services (or similar) by listing two (2) transport infrastructure projects with a head contract value greater than $100 million in the last 10 years or ongoing, with similar project scope and complexity to Garfield Road East Upgrade. Y/N?
- The Tender is not providing services to the Garfield Road East Upgrade Project D&C tender process. Y/N?
- The Tenderer agrees with the Ansarada Interaction rules provided. Y/N?
Scope
The scope of services includes but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and certifying the D&C Contractor's design;
- Consolidating, transferring, deferring, rejecting, closing and consolidating design comments, including the resolution of contradictory comments;
- Reviewing and approving specific project plans;
- Reviewing contractual compliance programs, including audits and surveillance;
- Administrating and the determination of defects;
- Monitoring and inspection of Contract’s processes for release of hold and witness points; and
- regular, formal reporting system of progress of the package including design, certification and construction, and quality management.
