Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Scope is as follows:

The Contractor shall supply all labour, plant, equipment, materials, supervision, traffic management, and associated resources necessary to complete the construction of the Georgetown Long Distance Coach Stop in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

The works shall include, but not be limited to:

  •  Site establishment, set out, supervision, and management of the works.
  •  Traffic management, including supply, installation, maintenance, and removal of all required temporary traffic control devices, signage, and safety measures for the duration of the works.
  •  Demolition and removal of existing kerb and disposal of waste material off-site.
  •  Excavation and disposal of unsuitable material as required to prepare the construction area.
  •  Supply, placement, spreading, and compaction of crushed dust base for slab preparation
  •  Construction of reinforced concrete hardstand slab and shelter slab, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and associated accessories in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  •  Construction of 150 mm concrete kerbing as shown on drawings.
  •  Supply and installation of Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI) in accordance with relevant standards.
  •  Installation of Council-supplied bus shelter, J-pole, and litter bin at the nominated location.
  •  Final clean-up, removal of surplus materials, demobilisation, and reinstatement of disturbed areas associated with the works.

Exclusions

The following items are excluded from this contract unless otherwise directed:

  •  Yellow bus zone line marking
  •  Service relocation works
  •  Landscaping works

Timeframe

The Contractor shall complete all works and achieve practical completion on or before 10 July

All communications and enquiries relating to this Procurement Process must be submitted via email to tender@etheridge.qld.gov.au no later than 3 calendar days prior to the Quotation closing time stated in Item 3

Submission of Quotation:

Quotations must be submitted via email to tender@etheridge.qld.gov.au no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, 8 June 2026.

Tenderers are responsible for ensuring that their quotation submission, including all required supporting documentation, is fully uploaded and received by Council prior to the closing time.
