Marine Navigational Aid Maintenance and Debris Removal Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking an experienced marine contractor to provide navigation aid maintenance and debris removal services across the Western Bay of Plenty.

This includes maintaining approximately 446 navigation aids to IALA and Maritime New Zealand standards, as well as providing a 24/7 response service to remove logs and other navigational hazards, with a high volume of callouts expected each year.

The contractor will supply all vessels, equipment, and personnel required, including fit-for-purpose vessels for both navigation aid servicing and debris retrieval, and must meet strict response timeframes for urgent incidents.

Services will be delivered across Tauranga Harbour and surrounding waterways, requiring strong local knowledge, proven capability, and compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and safety standards.
