Department of Education - Merredin College - Construction of Retaining Wall and Associated Works

⁠⁠⁠DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS

The Works comprise management and installation of a limestone retaining wall and concrete apron to manage the stormwater against the tennis courts edge and such other work as shown on the drawings or included in the specification.

This includes but not limited to;

1. Preparation of Management Plans and Program.

2. Scanning and or potholing to identify position of existing services within the work area.

3. Protection of services withing site area.

4. Traffic management and temporary works.

5. Removal of material from site to make way for the works.

6. Limestone Retaining Wall.

7. Earthworks required for the installation of limestone Retaining Wall and Concrete Apron.

8. Site preparation and new concrete path.

9. Reshape, extend and compact gravel to transition between new path and existing stairs.

10. Provide 100mm of pine mulch between the existing kerb and the new retaining wall.

11. Supply and install new removable Bollard to path.

Premises will be occupied during the term of the Contract. The Contractor shall ensure that it causes minimal inconvenience and disturbance to the occupants
