Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the works associated with Contract 3100 Supply and install Rate 3 LED street lighting upgrade on Paradise Palms from the Captain Cook Highway to the country club roundabout Kewarra Beach.
Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five (5) days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.
Site Inspection: A site inspection will be held on Thursday the 28thMay 2026 at 1:00pm. This site inspection is optional. If you wish to attend, please RSVP by 4:00pm Wednesday 27th May 2026.
Lodgement of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to the etender portal, using the response forms within the tender documentation.
We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission at least four (2) hours BEFORE the closing time.
Late, verbal or emailed quotations will not be accepted.
Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any quotation may not necessarily be accepted.
Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation. Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the quotation specifications.
Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
