Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Garage and mechanical maintenance are required to be achieved across all areas of Gove site. Plans will be implemented to allow regular routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment and infrastructure including general welding and fabrication repairs.

The Contractor is required to:

(a) Perform preventative maintenance services & repairs as per OEM service requirements or as per the schedule provided by the company.

(b) Perform major maintenance as required.

(c) Perform onsite breakdowns as required.

(d) Report to and seek approval from the onsite Company Representative for identified emergent repairs.

(e) Capture resource hours and required parts for each piece of equipment.

(f) Liaise with recommended suppliers to assist with work being performed in this scope.

(g) Perform routine inspections, greasing and lubricant checks as per original equipment manufacturers specifications and site requirements.

(h) Report any faults identified while carrying out routine maintenance, inspections and greasing to the area supervisor.

(i) Complete all documentation for PM services & repairs and attach to the work order in SAP weekly.

(j) Provide 4x4 Gove site Mine Spec vehicle set up to carry out repairs and maintenance in the field.

(k) Liaise with the area Planners to set up weekly maintenance plans for the teams.

(l) Managing parts inventory and supply requirements.

Garage Maintenance:

(a) Ad hoc maintenance on the light vehicle fleet of approximately 155 Toyota Hilux and Landcruiser vehicles, combined.

(b) Maintain a forklift fleet of approximately 18 pieces of equipment. These are made up of Toyota and CAT forklifts.

(c) Diesel powered pumps, generators, compressors and mobile welders located onsite and offsite.

(d) Light and medium trucks and a skid steer/excavator fleet of approximately 15 units comprising of Isuzu, Hino and Volvo trucks and CAT small skid steers and excavators. There are also approximately 25 pieces of miscellaneous equipment and trailers.

(e) Routine refuelling, greasing and lubricant checks on the fixed and mobile equipment fleet of approximately 60 pieces of equipment including Generators and marine vessels.

(f) The Contractor must provide all tools, PPE, equipment and transport to enable its personnel to effectively and efficiently perform the duties associated with their roles.

Mechanical Maintenance – Welding / Cutting - Boilermaker Skills:

(a) General Fabrication and welding repairs.

(b) Adhoc major maintenance welding tasks.

(c) Structural and Infrastructure repairs.

(d) Perform onsite breakdowns which require welding / cutting activities.

(e) The Contractor must provide all tools, PPE, equipment and transport to enable its personnel to effectively and efficiently perform the duties associated with their roles.

Non-Scheduled Services:

The Contractor may be asked to perform the following non-scheduled Services

(a) Personnel may be requested to assist other contractors and areas with maintenance repairs.

(b) Any additional Services as directed by the Company Representative.

Contractor to Supply

The Contractor must provide comprehensive Services that include

(a) fully maintained equipment register that must be provided to the Company Representative when requested for audit purposes.

(b) all hand tools.

(c) fully maintained vehicles which align with the “Vehicle and driving” procedure GPM-EHS-027.

(d) fully maintained Equipment / Lube truck (spec Schedule D) to complete the Services.

(e) uniforms and PPE in accordance with GPM-EHS-061.

(f) In Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) to be fitted to all light vehicles and trucks.
