Site Civil Services

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this Scope of Work is for the Contractor to provide safe and reliable civil services to support operations, maintenance and shutdown activities in accordance with Company requirements.

The Contractor must provide Services including, but not limited to:

1) Supply, operate and maintain a fleet of mobile and ancillary equipment

2) Provide competent Contractor personnel to cover all civil equipment movements

3) Support shutdowns and peak workload periods by supplying additional competent resources

The Contractor will:

(a) supply of all other materials and resources (unless issued by the Company) to facilitate all civil work requirements across the Site. This includes managing equipment, excavation and traffic control permits and refueling requirements necessary to undertake these activities.

(b) supply equipment and operators for planned and/or breakdown/emergency purposes. This includes the hire of mobile and ancillary equipment and personnel to complete these tasks on a day-to-day basis, supported by a 24/7 response methodology; and

(c) The ability to supply additional resources to cover shutdowns and shortfalls in the site-based labour as required.

(d) Provide civil equipment support for all onsite breakdowns as required.

(e) Provide 4x4 Gove site Mine Spec vehicles set up to carry out transport, repairs and maintenance in the field.

This scope of work is a summary description of goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto and may be subject to change in Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

 As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
