Melbourne Zoo Water Servicing

⁠⁠⁠Zoos Victoria invites tenders for the servicing and maintenance of water filtration systems at Melbourne Zoo.

These systems support animal welfare by filtering fresh and salt water and treat stormwater to Class A standard to reduce potable water use and prevent runoff into nearby wetlands. The contract ensures ongoing servicing and preventative maintenance to keep these systems fully operational. The contract is for an initial 2 year period with the option to extend on 3 occasions for 1 year (potential 5-year total).

Tenderers are invited to submit tenders for one, two or all three components (specifications), those being Water Filtration Plants, Wild Seas Life Support Systems and/or Water Recycling Plant. Zoos Victoria may elect to award all components to one contractor or divide the components and award to multiple contractors.
