Supply and Installation of Fencing and Associated Products

The City of Stirling (City) invites submissions for the supply and installation of fencing and associated products. This Invitation for Tender (IFT) seeks suitable contractors to provide some or all the following categories of works:

• Panel 1 – Reserve Fencing; and
• Panel 2 – Steel Fencing

Fencing works play an essential role in supporting the City’s commitment to creating safe, functional, and attractive public spaces. As part of the City’s broader infrastructure and improvement programs, fencing is used to clearly define boundaries, protect assets, manage access, and enhance the visual character of parks, reserves, dunes, bushlands and community facilities.

The delivery of fencing works typically includes the installation, replacement, or upgrade of a range of fencing types such as post and ring lock, chain‑mesh, steel & aluminum and bollards. Each will be selected to suit the operational, environmental, and aesthetic requirements of the location. These works ensure that public areas are appropriately secured, that pedestrian and vehicle movements are safely managed, and that infrastructure is protected from unauthorised access or damage

Basis of Contract Award

The minimum number of two to three pre-qualified suppliers per each panel are anticipated to be engaged. Dependent on the outcome of the evaluation, additional pre-qualified suppliers may be engaged. Details on work allocation per panel are indicated in the Conditions of Tendering document .
