Matariki 2026 - Stallholders Expressions of Interest

⁠⁠⁠This year’s Matariki event will be held on Friday, 10th July 5pm – 9.00pm at Saxton Sports Complex . This is an opportunity for community groups, fundraising groups, small businesses and individuals to sell traditional arts & crafts and a variety of culturally diverse food & refreshments.

We invite vendors who are interested in securing a stall at this year’s festival to complete the form .

Expressions of interest close on: 15th June

Vendors will be advised about their application on: 18th June

Equipment

This event will be held outdoors. All vendors will be required to provide their own gazebos, tables, chairs and other required equipment. We will provide festoon lighting, electricity, etc.

Food and refreshments

We ask that vendors’ sell healthy products i.e., no sugary products, lollies, energy drinks or juice. Fried foods are also discouraged where possible.

Serveware

More information regarding venue guidelines for serveware will be sent out to those who are accepted
