Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠This RFP relates to the procurement of Advanced Fabrication Robotic Welding for educational delivery at the TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence (MCoEs).

Project goals

TAFE NSW are taking a two stage process to engage an appropriate supplier.

Stage 1 – Registration for Opportunity - see document

Stage 2 – TAFE NSW will issue an invitation to the RFP via TAFE NSW Ariba

Scope

TAFE NSW is seeking to procure Advanced Fabrication - Robotic Welding machines as outlined below. These machines will support educational delivery at the TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence located at Tighes Hill, Wetherill Park and Wollongong. The initial volume forecast is listed below, with an option to supply additional units across NSW if required and subject to future demand.

  1. Classroom Laser Welding System - Fixed Table, pre-configured educational robotic cell. Initial purchasing will require 1 complete unit supplied to each of the three MCoE sites.
  2. Robotic Welder (minimum 4 Axis) - with an approximate 2000mm working range for accurate, repeatable welding. Initial purchasing will require 1 complete unit supplied to Wollongong.
  3. Cobot Welder (minimum 4 Axis) - with a minimum approximate 1000mm working range, designed for safe, repeatable welding alongside operators. Initial purchasing will require 1 complete unit supplied to Wollongong.
