Petrophysics Data Acquisition Services

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE, the ‘Customer’) wishes to establish a Panel Arrangement of suitably qualified and experienced laboratories (the Contractor) to measure a suite of petrophysical properties on drill core samples from selected West Australian core samples.

DMPE does not permit core to be transported outside Western Australia other than under exceptional circumstances. The Contractor must have suitable premises in Western Australia with cores being delivered from GSWA’s Core Libraries in Perth and/ or Kalgoorlie.

DMPE requires a minimum “full suite” of properties to be collected but is also interested in other available properties/measurement-types offered by the Contractor that may not be listed, allowing DMPE to pick additional properties/measurements on an ad-hoc basis where these measurements are deemed suitable for specific projects.

This contract is offered on a panel arrangement. Therefore, Panel Members may not be engaged for services, or may be engaged to perform a single, multiple or all measurement-types depending on DMPE’s project needs. Pricing should be offered in two forms: per individual measurement-type per sample, and per “full suite” per sample.
