Medical Advisory Services

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DE) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified provider to deliver a Medical Advisory Service that supports workplace managers and principals in effectively managing employee health-related matters.

This service will provide professional advice and support in relation to:

• Managing employees whose behaviour, performance and/or attendance may be affected by physical or psychological health issues
• Supporting employees returning to work following illness or injury
• Undertaking pre-employment medical assessment processes
• Coordinating independent medical examinations to determine fitness for duty

  The service will enable consistent, informed and compliant decision-making across the Department.
