Provision of Facility Management Services at Public Transport Authority Non-Rail Facilities

⁠⁠⁠Background

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide facility management services at its PTA non rail facilities. The current contract for the provision of these services expires on 31 December 2026. It is anticipated that a new contract for these services will commence from 1 January 2027.

The Transperth Infrastructure & Systems Branch is responsible for delivering facility management and capital works as it relates to its core business of bus passenger transit services. To support the public transport services, the PTA maintains a significant number of facilities:

• 26 Metropolitan sites that include a combination of:
• Bus stations;
• Layovers;
• Jetties;
• Information centres; and
• Security compound.
• 29 Metropolitan bus depots / land holding - planned sites.
• 9 Regional bus depots.

The primary purpose of this procurement is to ensure that Transperth’s non-rail facilities are properly maintained through a Facility Management contract arrangement. In recognition of the flexible nature of the public transport system, the style of the contract is intended to facilitate changes to meet public demand that may be required throughout the period of the contract.

Scope of Requirement and Specification

The successful Respondent will be required to provide a comprehensive range of facility maintenance services comprising:

a. Planned Maintenance Services;

b. Routine Maintenance Services;

c. Breakdown Repair Services including a requirement for a 24-hour emergency call out capability 365 days a year; and

d. Capital and Minor Works Services.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at Path Transit Malaga Bus Depot, 51 Truganina Rd, Malaga on 28 May, 2026 10:00 AM.

A briefing session will be held for all potential Respondents at the Path Transit Malaga Bus Depot (Operated by Path Transit), 51 Truganina Rd, Malaga, on Thursday, 28 May 2026, 10:00 am.

Respondents intending to attend the briefing session must contact the enquiries officer nominated on page 1 of the Request to register by no later than 4:00 pm, Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Important Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements, including closed-in footwear, long pants and an orange high-visibility shirt or long-sleeved shirt with an orange high-visibility vest. The Public Transport Authority will not provide this PPE. Attendees without the correct attire will not be admitted.
