Essential Fire Safety Measures – Maintenance, Testing & Certification

⁠⁠⁠Albury City Council invites suitably qualified Tenderers to submit a Tender for the Contract 24/01880 - Essential Fire Safety Measures – Maintenance, Testing & Certification for Council.

Albury City Council has historically engaged multiple contractors and processes to deliver fire maintenance and compliance services across its facilities. 

The purpose of this contract is to consolidate these services under a single framework to ensure that all fire safety systems and equipment are inspected, tested, maintained, and documented in accordance with AS1851, relevant statutory regulations, and any site-specific requirements.

The Contract covers (but is not limited to) the following fire safety systems and services:

• Fire detection and alarm systems

• Building occupant warning systems

• Fire alarm monitoring

• Smoke alarms

• System interface testing

• Fire water tanks

• Fire hydrants

• Fire pumps

• Fire hose reels

• Portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets

• Passive fire protection systems (e.g., fire doors)

• Emergency and exit lighting

• Provision of Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS)

Council invites suitably qualified Tenderers to submit a Tender for the provision of services under the conditions detailed in this RFT.

This Tender is conducted in accordance with Council’s Procurement Policy. The Contract is a Schedule of Rates and is subject to rise-and-fall provisions. This Contract will be governed by the Conditions of Contract for the Supply of Services (refer Document 1 and Section 3.26)
