Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: China-Australia Horticulture Showcase (HA25016).
This networking gala dinner is projected to take place during China International Fruit Expo (CIFE) in Shanghai, on 27th August 2026.
The overall objectives of the services are to:
• Foster and strengthen connections between Australia and Chinese industries and governments to support market access and trade engagement
• Enhance grower confidence and strategic recognition through established networks and promote active engagement by coordinating China-Australia engagement initiatives
• Position Australia as a trusted and engaged horticulture partner
• Enhance trade and collaboration opportunities through strategic engagement embedded in export practices
The project aims to achieve practical, impact-driven outputs working towards building market development opportunities for growers to drive long-term commercial viability. Using a pre-designed framework, designed for adaptability across other high-value markets, supports this project to focus on critical success factors.
