2026-27 Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for Hire of Plant and Operator

⁠⁠⁠Please note: only new suppliers, not currently on the 2025/26 Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers for Hire of Plant and Operator need to respond to this EOI.

Goondiwindi Regional Council (GRC) is inviting fixed priced submissions for Expressions of Interest (EOI) 2627-01 from suitably qualified, experienced and resourced CONTRACTORS THAT RESIDE OR HAVE A REGISTERED PLACE OF BUSINESS WITHIN THE GRC LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA for inclusion on an approved contractor list for the intermittent hire of plant for an initial period of one (1) year (from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027), with the option of one (1) further extension of one (1) year at Council’s sole discretion.

Price basis shall be at a fixed price for the initial one (1) year period and the twelve (12) month option period thereafter. Approximately one (1) month prior to the expiration of each twelve (12) month period, an updated 3b Schedule of Rates A & B will be sought by GRC from the Supplier. If a response is not received by the closing date, the prices submitted for the previous twelve (12) month period will be applied.

Although successful suppliers may remain on the register of pre-qualified suppliers for hire of plant and operator for up to two (2) years, Council will still continue to call for Expressions of Interest for new Suppliers, not already on the register, to be added to the register, annually.

From this register, plant will be ordered by GRC on a needs basis throughout the contract period.
