Supply and Install of 3x Pool Facility Controller Boards/Switchboards

⁠⁠⁠Scope: Banana Shire Council requires a contractor to supply and install replacement controller/switch boards at Council’s three pool facilities. All three are in a position where they have high exposure to chemicals. For this reason, we are requesting high corrosion resistant materials are to be used.

All drawings and designs have been completed.

Locations and details of existing infrastructure:

Biloela Pool Facility (Rainbow Street, Biloela)

Controller board, controls 50m pool pump, filtration and sanitation.

Taroom Pool Facility (Yaldwyn Street, Taroom)

Main switchboard, the board currently services the kiosk area and pump room. The current board likely contains asbestos. It is likely that Ergon smart meters will be installed rather than the existing infrastructure.

Moura Pool Facility (Davey Street, Moura)

Controller board, controls 25m & 50m pool pump, filtration and sanitation, a 25m heating system and the full kiosk area.

All abovementioned boards are to be replaced, using appropriate corrosion resistant materials, in the same locations. It is expected all wiring, switches, RCD, fittings etc. within the board will be replaced. All replacement boards need to be supplied, installed and commissioned by the successful contractor, including communications with Ergon. All existing/expired boards are to be disconnected and to be disposed of by the successful contractor.

All works must comply with Australian Standards and be conducted by licensed tradespeople. Please ensure your quotation includes (but not limited to):

• copies of relevant licenses/accreditations, and

• insurances (including public liability documentation),

• relevant experience and history with such works,

• timeframe for completion

Risk assessment, inductions and safe work method statements etc will be required before works can start.
