Council invites tenders for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Blackhead Rd and Diamond Beach Rd, Hallidays Point NSW as described in Councill issued design plans and supporting documents.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Council has received funding for the design and construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Blackhead Rd and Diamond Beach Rd, Hallidays Point. The upgrade of the intersection is in support of anticipated population growth within the Halliday’s Point / Red Head / Diamond Beach areas. The construction of a roundabout with a stub for a future development road was identified as the most appropriate treatment.
The works aim to preserve as much of the existing pavement as possible whilst widening and improving the pavement where necessary, improving subsoil and stormwater drainage and adjusting the existing electrical network and constructing new street lighting.
