2028 & 2029 NSW Premier's Teacher Scholarship - Sponsorship Request - Expression of interest

⁠⁠⁠This is an opportunity to sponsor a category in the 2028 & 2029 NSW Premier's Teacher Scholarships.

Project goals

The NSW Department of Education is interested in partnering with organisations in support of the 2028 and 2029 Premier’s Teacher Scholarships. The NSW Premier's Teacher Scholarships, which began in 1999 are an initiative of the NSW Premier's Department, administered by the NSW Department of Education.

Each scholarship is valued at $15,000 and involves a five-week study tour where teachers can research highly acclaimed schools, education institutions and learning centres in their nominated regions nationally in Australia and abroad.

The scholarships provide a unique opportunity for teachers to develop skills and knowledge in their field of expertise, and students benefit directly from the research and teaching methods.

The scholarships will be awarded in 2027 and 2028, and the recipients will commence travel between January – July 2028 and 2029 consecutively.

The department is offering scholarships in categories ranging from Rural and remote education, Early Childhood education, Creativity across the curriculum, Skills and pathways, Technology in education, Aboriginal education and Tailored category (sponsor identified category) to name just a few. For a list of all the categories refer to the attached prospectus.

Scope

There is no scope for goods or services, as this is not a procurement activity. This is an EOI to secure sponsorships for an initiative of the NSW Premier's Department, administered by the NSW Department of Education.
