Tender Description
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is seeking a provider of daily end-of-day pricing information for securities eligible for use in the RBA's domestic market operations. The pricing information will be used to support the RBA's risk management analysis and financial reporting activities.
Detailed description of the Supply
• Goods and Services Required
End-of-day daily pricing data for securities that are eligible for use in in the RBA’s domestic market operations. Coverage of security types listed in Attachment 5.1 is mandatory because they are the specific securities that are eligible for use in the RBA’s domestic market operations.
• Department/Section Requiring Goods and Services
RBA’s Financial Markets Group and Finance Department.
• Purpose and Intended Use
The RBA requires the rights to use and store the data for its internal processes, conduct analysis on the data to support its broader policy objectives, and publish aggregated information in publications (including financial reporting).
• Required Characteristics
End-of-day daily pricing and yield data as at 4:30pm Australian Eastern Standard/Daylight time for the universe of securities eligible for use in the RBA’s domestic market operations. See Attachment 5.1 for definition of securities coverage.
Settlement basis for pricing and yield data for each security as follows:
- Option 1: ‘t+0’ and ‘t+2’ settlement basis pricing for all securities
- Option 2: ‘t+0’ settlement basis pricing for all securities and ‘t+2’ settlement basis for Australian government and Australian state and territory government securities.
- Option 3: only ‘t+0’ settlement basis pricing for all securities.
See Attachment 5.2 for more information. Responses to the tender should include quotes for as many of the above options as possible.
Specific data fields must be provided for each security in each daily file. Coverage of fields listed in Attachment 5.3 is mandatory.
The Respondant must include an efficient means for the RBA to request for new securities to be included in the daily pricing file(s). For example, an efficient means could be providing the RBA with the universe of Australian dollar debt securities that meet the RBA’s eligibility criteria (see Section 5) or a streamlined process for adding individual securities to the daily pricing file within one business day.

Conditions for Participation:
- The respondent exists as a legal entity at Closing time
- Tender response received prior to the closing time
- Entities listed as terrorists or subject to sanctions are excluded
- Tender response includes a completed and signed Response Deed
- The Respondent is not subject to a judicial decision against them relating to employee entitlements (not including decisions under appeal, and have not paid the claim)
- Where the Respondent is a Relevant Employer, the Respondent is compliant with its obligations under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth) (the WGE Act).
- The Respondent is not precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work at closing time.
