ASA Industry Workshop and B2B Networking at IODS 26 27 May 2026 1:00 - 4:00pm
This session is designed to support practical, supply chain ready engagement between Australian, US and UK industry, Government and AUKUS partners, with a strong emphasis on direct interaction with Prime contractors.
Session Overview
The ASA session will focus on:
- AUKUS in action - what it means in practice and what comes next
- Workforce and capability uplift required to support the submarine enterprise
- SRF West and the emerging sustainment environment
- What Primes and partners expect from industry participants
- How Australian companies can position for near and medium term opportunities
The session will combine short presentations and panels with structured, facilitated B2B networking.
Structured B2B Networking - World Cafe Format
A core component of this session will be structured World Cafe-style B2B networking, designed to move beyond informal mingling and enable purposeful, time bound conversations.
World Cafe networking will:
- Be delivered in rotational time blocks
- Enable direct engagement between Australian industry and Prime contractors / strategic partners
- Focus on capability alignment, readiness and supply chain pathways
- Be facilitated to support equitable access and flow
Participation in B2B networking is optional and requires separate registration details as part of the process below.

- Registration is first in, first served, subject to venue capacity
- Successful registrants will receive confirmation and logistics details closer to the event
B2B / Meet the Primes Networking
- B2B networking places are limited
- Allocation will be informed by:
- order of registration
- relevance of capability to Prime interests
- balance across SMEs, mid tiers and primes
Registering interest does not guarantee a meeting with specific organisations; however, ASA will use registration data to support effective matchmaking
