Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for Provision of Café Services for Canterbury Leisure and Aquatic Centre.

Scope

1. Provision of Food and Beverage

• A focus on the coffee experience
• Ready-made foods, accessible for those on the go
• Takeaway options
• Variety of food options, ranging from light snacks to more substantial meals for dine in options
• Healthy options for wellness
• Juices, smoothies, and blended drinks
• Ice-creams
• QR code for table orders
• Rotating seasonal menu for cafe
• Kiosk to service pool patrons for casual usage and events

2. Expectation for Café and Kiosk operating hours

3. Qualified team for barista made coffee and to be able to produce a menu of cooked options

4. Contractor will have access to site delivery and waste collection

5. Café Operator will be responsible for cleaning of tables and chairs at both foyer and Tasker Park area of the facility throughout operating hours.

6. Cleaning an upkeep of all kitchen equipment as per the recommendation of appliances

7. Quarterly meeting with site manager and Councils representative

Additional details/instructions

Non-compulsory briefing and site inspection to be held on site at Canterbury Leisure & Aquatic Centre.

Note: PPE will be required on site, to be brought to site by the Tenderer; high-vis vests, hard hat and enclosed shoes at minimum. Please note that the site will not be accessible outside of the non-compulsory briefing, as this is a work site.
