Tender ID: 613265
Tender Details
Tender Description
The primary objective of the project is to gather information relating to the condition and key attributes of Councils existing stormwater drainage pits.
Council maintains approximately 12,300 drainage pits distributed over Seven (7) major suburbs throughout the municipality. This project focuses on capturing physical, inventory and condition-based data for approximately 14,500 known and documented stormwater pits located across approximately 2,060 Hectares within Municipality.
This project also requires the identification and recording of any pits not included in the data supplied by Council.
The results of this audit will help Council determine maintenance and renewal requirements and will provide comprehensive data that will further assist with proactive drainage improvement works.
All (known) drainage pits have a unique number provided by Council identifying them on Councils database and GIS layer, which will form the basis of this audit.
The Contractor is responsible for providing the required data in a GIS format in addition to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet suitable for importing into Councils systems.
Whilst the total number of pits allocated for this survey is indicative, certain allowance needs to be given for pits that cannot be audited; e.g. pit lid lifting issues, site access limitations or any other auditing hindrances.
There will be a briefing session on Wednesday 20 May 2026 from 2pm to 4pm, location per documentation
