Eastern Hill Communications Building Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Albury City Council invites suitably qualified Tenderers to submit a Tender for the Eastern Hill Communications Building Upgrade for Council upon the conditions detailed in the RFT.

Scope:

AlburyCity Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the design and construction of a new, insulated and weatherproof equipment building at Eastern Hill, Albury.

The works include the full design, supply and construction of a climate-controlled building to accommodate communications and water network hardware. The building shall be designed to provide appropriate environmental control, durability, security and safe access for ongoing operations and maintenance.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

• Design and construction of a compound including an equipment building, including all structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical components required for a fully operational facility.

• All required site preparation, excavation, footings, slabs, drainage and associated civil works.

• Provision of a climate control system suitable for sensitive communications and network equipment.

• Installation of a new (free issue) electrical switchboard inside the new structure, in accordance with relevant standards and service authority requirements.

• Supply, install and connect new cables between the existing communications equipment atop of the existing tower to the new equipment building.

• Supply and installation of a secure perimeter fence to deter unauthorised access and provide controlled entry.

• Provision of suitable access arrangements to accommodate connection of a trailer mounted generator for emergency power supply during outages.
