Tender Description
Camden Council invites suitably qualified and experienced sports turf D&C contractors to design, deliver, test, and handover improvement works to the existing sports fields at Belgenny.
The works include stripping and disposal of existing turf, stripping and salvaging site topsoil (average depth of 200 mm), regrading of the subgrade to meet Football NSW local level competition standards, salvage/adaptation and reuse of the existing irrigation system, re-spreading salvaged topsoil as a consistent rootzone layer, and supply and installation of Kikuyu turf, including grow-in and defects liability/maintenance.
Respondents must propose a complete, coordinated D&C solution meeting the performance requirements set out in the Scope of Works, including design documentation, certifications, quality assurance, testing, and program, while minimizing disruption to adjacent users and stakeholders.
Site Visit:
There will not be a formal tender meeting or briefing for this tender. Nevertheless, a representative from Camden Council will be available onsite on Monday the 18/05/26 at 11:00 AM for 30 minutes to address any inquiries regarding the site and its constraints.
Please note: The Council representative will assess onsite whether any question may offer a contractor an undue advantage. In such cases, the contractor will be instructed to formally submit the question to Council, with a response subsequently provided via an addendum.
The site inspection is non-mandatory and tenderers are not required to attend.
