The Euston to Robinvale Riverwalk is a 2.14 kilometre shared-use path that connects the twin towns of Euston in New South Wales and Robinvale in Victoria along the banks of the Murray River. The trail is suitable for walkers, cyclists, joggers, prams, and wheelchair users, offering a scenic, shaded, and accessible route with attractive river views, billabongs, and wetlands. Key attractions include a centrally located pergola/rotunda providing seating and panoramic river vistas, along with opportunities to observe local wildlife such as pelicans, black swans, kangaroos, and the endangered Southern Bell Frog.
The Riverwalk links seamlessly with the separate Robinvale Riverfront Walk and serves as a popular, family-friendly recreational asset that enhances the visitor experience in the Robinvale-Euston region.Balranald Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contracting firm to undertake a comprehensive refresh of the Euston to Robinvale Riverwalk.
The objective of the project is to upgrade the trail’s condition and appeal in order to attract more visitors and tourists while increasing regular usage by local residents.
