Park Rd Dynamic Lane

⁠⁠⁠The NOP programme has proposed a dynamic lane on Park Road between Grafton Road and the Auckland Hospital entrance; this proposal aims to reduce significant eastbound traffic delays caused by long queues at the hospital entrance and to address safety issues related to vehicles bypassing these queues in the opposing lane.

The suggested dynamic lane would add a new eastbound lane by turning the current westbound middle lane into an EBD lane from 10am to 2pm. This change could cut traffic delays by up to ten minutes and help reduce the safety risks of using lanes in the opposite direction.

Auckland Transport is seeking for end-to-end services, including Detailed design, product supply, ITS design, testing, system integration, installation, and maintenance.
