Mulwala Pioneer Museum - Stage 1A Construction of Temporary Propping & Structural Supports

⁠⁠⁠Federation Council is seeking quotations for the Stage 1A of a works package for Mulwala Pioneer Museum located at 151 Melbourne Street, Mulwala, NSW 2647. The works package includes three parts:

• Stage 1A - Temporary Propping & Structural Support
• Stage 1B - Decanting and evacuation from the building
• Stage 2 - Demolition and Civil Works

Stage 1A includes the temporary propping and structural supports required to enable the safe decanting and evacuation (Stage 1B) before the building will be demolished (Stage 2) - these will be separate works packages. This work is required as serious issues has been identified with the building’s structure and council has determined that the asset is at its ‘end of life’ and is required to be made safe to prevent any ongoing risk and liability.

The construction of temporary propping and structural supports is to be undertaken under a Lump Sum Contract.
