• Ensure continued access to a reliable Injury Triage and Medical Referral Service for all HealthShare NSW sites
• Support early intervention and timely medical treatment for workplace injuries to improve recovery outcomes
• Maintain compliance with legislative obligations under Workers Compensation and Work Health and Safety requirements, including 48-hour reporting
• Provide efficient, single-point access for incident reporting and medical advice, reducing administrative burden on sites
• Enhance service accessibility across all locations, including regional and transitioning sites
• Reduce organisational risk exposure, including potential penalties and injury-related costs

Scope

The Principal is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Supplier to deliver a comprehensive, telephone-based Injury Triage and Medical Referral Service for HealthShare NSW and Participating Health Agencies.

The Service is to provide 24/7 access to immediate injury triage, medical advice, and referral pathways to support early intervention and effective management of workplace injuries. This includes facilitating timely access to appropriately qualified medical Providers across New South Wales, supporting both face-to-face and, where appropriate, telehealth consultations.

The Supplier will be responsible for maintaining a qualified Provider network, ensuring service accessibility across metropolitan and regional locations, and meeting defined service levels for call response, triage outcomes, and appointment timeframes.

The Supplier must also deliver accurate and timely reporting on service usage, outcomes, and performance to support monitoring, compliance, and continuous improvement.
