Rangari Road Upgrade – Tree Removal

⁠⁠⁠This tender is for Contract No. 2025-26-122 for the tree removal required for the future upgrade of the 9.6 kilometre section of Rangari Road in the Narrabri Shire Council local government area.

Narrabri Shire Council (the Principal) invites tenders from suitably qualified proprietary limited companies for the Works Under the Contract (WUC), which will generally comprise the following:

- Ecological Supervision During Tree Felling

- Tree Removal

- Stump Treatment

- Mulching

- Site Clearing and Reinstatement

- Traffic Management

- Compliance and Reporting

The Contract is to be completed within eight (8) weeks of the Principal’s acceptance of the tender.

Tender Documents can be downloaded and Tenders submitted electronically via Council’s E-tendering portal.

A mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting and Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, 26 May at 10:00am, at Rangari Road at the western end of the sealed/unsealed interface located approximately 15 kilometres from the Kamilaroi Highway intersection.

Tenderers are to register their interest in attending the pre-tender meeting and the site inspection by telephoning the Principal’s Contracts Officer on (02) 6799 6866 or contracts@narrabri.nsw.gov.au at least two (2) working days prior to the meeting.

All enquiries and requests for clarification regarding this Request for Tender (RFT) must be submitted via the question forum on the etender portal. Questions must be posted to the open RFT through the online portal. This ensures transparency and equal access to information for all prospective tenderers.
