Jandowae Winfields Road Waste Management Centre Cell Expansion (1C)

⁠⁠⁠Background:

Western Downs Regional Council owns and operates a General Waste landfill located on Winfields Road, Jandowae, QLD. The landfill design incorporates the progressive development of individual landfill cells including an engineered liner and leachate collection system for the ongoing depositing of approved solid waste.

To ensure the ongoing capacity of the landfill, Council seeks to engage a suitably experienced and capable contractor to construct the new Cell 1C, including its composite liner and leachate collection system. Previously constructed Cell 1B is currently nearing capacity, so it is Council's expectation that Cell 1C will be ready to receive waste as soon as possible.
