Central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre (CQSCC) Demolition Works

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Primary Industries, through Agriculture, seeks the provision of demolition services for identified buildings at the Central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre (CQSCC) in Emerald, Queensland.

Required works

The successful Tenderer from the RFQ process/es will be required to demolish the identified buildings at the CQSCC site, including the disconnection of all services and removal of all associated waste, including Asbestos Containing Materials, in a safe manner.

Services

• Demolition and clearance of identified buildings and resulting waste from site

• Removal of all identified Asbestos-containing materials (ACM)

• Electrical works – disconnection and make good

• Plumbing works – disconnection and make good

• Tree removal – there are some trees impacting on buildings so the supplier will need to remove them in the process of demolition

• Removal of all cement pathways surrounding buildings and level site.

The successful Tenderer will be required to additionally provide:

• Site establishment – erect temporary fencing around worksites to control unauthorised entry including safety signage. Secure and provide permits and approvals.

• Development and Implementation of pedestrian and traffic management including required signage and consultation with staff onsite. Provide temporary and alternate access if required.

• Environmental management controls to manage dust, noise, vibration, erosion and sediment control.

• Safe work method statements for high-risk work.

• Emergency response plan.
