Civil Contractor - Belisama Gas Project

⁠⁠⁠The Contractor shall undertake all bulk earthworks and early civil works required to establish the Belisama Gas Project site.

Scope of Services

The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Civil and Earthworks:

• Site establishment and preparation of the work areas.

• Bulk earthworks to form the pad, access tracks, ponds, laydowns and construction areas.

• Development of access and internal road networks to support construction activities.

• Construction of site-wide drainage and water management systems.

• Detailed set out of all civil works including pads, roads, drainage and infrastructure.

• Clearing and grubbing including removal and disposal of vegetation.

• Stripping, stockpiling and management of topsoil.

• Subgrade preparation, proof rolling, treatment, and compaction.

• Supply, placement, conditioning and compaction of all fill, sub-base, and base course materials.

• Cut and fill operations.

• Construction of ponds, including excavation, shaping and supply and installation of pond liner systems.

• Supply materials, construct, and maintain road pavements.

• Erosion control.

Concrete Works:

• Supply and installation of all pre-cast and in-situ concrete foundations

• Provide all necessary temporary works.

• Detailed earthworks associated with concrete works.

• Concrete blinding.

• Supply and install geotextiles, moisture barriers, and membranes.

• Supply, detailing, fabrication and installation of formwork, reinforcement and cast-in items.

• Supply, placement, finishing and curing of concrete.

• Concrete testing.

• Survey set-out and as-built reports.

Underground Services:

• Survey set out and as-built survey of underground services.

• Excavation, trenching and supply and placement of sand bedding as required.

• Supply and installation of underground services including conduits, piping, electrical cables.

• Installation of buried HDPE and steel piping including all associated welding and quality management.

• Hydrostatic testing of underground piping.

• Back-filling and compaction. 

Compliance and Standards

• Adherence to site-specific safety requirements, including inductions and traffic management procedures.

On completion of the Expression of Interest stage, specific scope requirements will be communicated to successful organisations via a formal Invitation to Tender.
