Mental Health Multidisciplinary Service Program - General Practices
Tender ID: 611633
Tender Details
Tender Description
There is a demonstrated gap in the availability of accessible, affordable, and integrated long-term multidisciplinary mental health care for people experiencing complex mental health conditions in underserviced and hard-to-reach communities in Adelaide's outer south. Existing services are assessed to require supplementation, particularly to support intensive, holistic, and longer-term models of care.
In response to this need, the Commonwealth has provided grant funding to Adelaide Primary Health Network (Adelaide PHN) to strengthen primary health care capacity through a targeted, place-based approach focused on areas of highest disadvantage.
The Mental Health Multidisciplinary Service (MHMS) Program aims to enhance the capacity of General Practices in identified locations of need within the Onkaparinga Local Government Area (LGA) to deliver coordinated, whole-person multidisciplinary care.
Adelaide PHN seeks to commission a minimum of four General Practices to implement integrated Mental Health Multidisciplinary Service model, providing seamless care for people of all ages experiencing complex mental health conditions and suicide distress for up to two years across 2026-2028 financial years.
Each participating general practice will receive up to $25,000 (ex. GST) throughout the Program delivery period.
