Tender Description
Central Queensland University (CQU) is seeking Proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to design and propose a modular, scalable approach to preparing for emerging climate-related financial disclosure requirements, noting these are not yet mandated for statutory bodies in Queensland.
This invitation deliberately does not prescribe a fixed scope of works. Suppliers are asked to apply their expertise to:
a) articulate what services are required to support compliance with, and readiness for, climate-related financial disclosure frameworks such as Australian Accounting Standards Board AASB S2, International Sustainability Standards, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures framework and broader Australian public sector and higher education regulatory expectations including NSW Treasury’s TPG 24-33,
b) distinguish between core foundational services, optional or advanced services, and future-phase services as disclosure maturity evolves, and
c) propose a delivery model that supports both institution-specific requirements and shared, multi-institution solutions that would be applicable across regional universities.
