Tender Description
-
- The scope of this tender is to establishment and maintenance of traffic control to enable safe night-shift operations
- Supply of all materials required for the associated works including but not limited to bitumen binders, aggregates, EME2, asphalt wearing course, primer seal, and stabilisation products
- Site and surface preparation to a standard suitable for pavement rehabilitation
- Disposal of all waste generated throughout the course of the works
- R101 Milling of existing pavement to a depth of 210 mm, with subgrade assessed visually and through proof-rolling
- Stabilisation of the working platform where required (3% quicklime or 3.5% hydrated lime in business/residential areas)
In adherence to the R50 (Stabilisation of Earthworks). Pass/fail based on R50 verification testing: correct binder spread, mixing, compaction and achieving required strength.
- Possible removal and replacement of 150 mm SMZ layers (or more in isolated locations) where proof rolling identifies soft spots; use of geogrid where required
In adherence to the R44 (Earthworks). Pass/fail based on proof rolling performance and replacement material meeting R44 compaction/material requirements.
- Placement of a 10 mm primer seal with aggregate over the prepared working platform per R107
- Placement of 160 mm EME2 basecourse (constructed as 2 × 80 mm layers) per R126
- Placement of 50 mm AC14 (A15E) wearing course to complete the asphalt surfacing per R116 Temporary delineation of lanes (e.g. stick-and-stomp markers)
SPECIFICATION OF SERVICES
All works are to be in accordance with ITP’s for the Transport for NSW Specification TCAWS Pre-qualified G10, R101, R50, R44, R107, R126, R116 and R145
