Beach Staired Access Grasstree Beach & Sarina Beach

⁠⁠⁠Mackay Regional Council (the Principal) invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a Tender for the delivery of the Beach Stair Access Project, comprising the construction of new beach stair access infrastructure at Grasstree Beach and Sarina Beach, together with associated signage, fencing, landscaping and ancillary works, in accordance with the Contract.

The Works are more fully described in Part 5 – Scope of Works and the Contract Documents and include, without limitation, site establishment and disestablishment, earthworks, concrete works, supply and installation of beach access stairs, associated signage and fencing, reinstatement and revegetation works, and the preparation and submission of required certifications and as built documentation.

Tenderers must submit a conforming Tender in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Tender and the Contract Documents. The Scope of Works is technical and descriptive only and must be read in conjunction with the General Conditions of Contract, Special Conditions of Contract, Drawings, Specifications and all other documents forming part of the Contract. In the event of any inconsistency, the order of precedence stated in the Contract applied

NATURE OF CONTRACT

The Contract Sum is a Lump Sum (with a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as described in the General Conditions of Contract

The Principal intends to award the whole Contract to one (1) Tenderer, or not at all, at its sole discretion.
