Planning Scheme Amendments - Permanent Flood Controls

⁠⁠⁠Strathbogie Shire Council invites quotations from qualified and experienced planning consultant to prepare, exhibit and implement planning scheme amendments that translate recent flood studies and modelling into permanent controls for Euroa, Nagambie and Violet Town. The Amendment’s purpose is to improve decision-making, public safety and environmental resilience by aligning statutory controls with contemporary flood risk and catchment data.

The Amendment translates recent flood studies and modelling into permanent planning controls, aligning outputs with DTP/CMA requirements and Ministerial Directions.

The purpose of this project is to implement updated flooding controls within the Strathbogie Planning Scheme to ensure that land use and development across the municipality appropriately responds to identified flood risk.
