Aquatic Facility Management and Operations

⁠⁠⁠Strathbogie Shire Council has four seasonal aquatic facilities located in Avenel, Euroa, Nagambie and Violet Town. These facilities have been managed by an external contractor for the past six seasons.

The most recent contract is due to expire at the end of the current season.

This service contract is being retendered.

This contract is for the operational management of Strathbogie Shire's municipal swimming pools at Avenel, Euroa, Nagambie and Violet Town. Strathbogie Shires pools are outdoor regional pools with seasonal operating times established.

Council is looking to engage a suitably qualified aquatic facility manager to continue to manage all four swimming pools for a minimum contract period of three years.

The aquatic manager will be required to provide facilities that meet the needs of the community to have qualified and competent personnel supervising the use of the pools to maximise the safety, water quality and general satisfaction levels for users and comply with all Victorian Swimming Pool Regulations.

The aquatic manager will also be responsible for delivering important programming at the pool and driving increased attendances across all four pools while ensuring the pools remain vibrant community spaces.

Tenders will be received until 4pm - Friday, 24 April 2026.
