Provision of the Karratha Regional Town Bus Services

⁠⁠⁠The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide the Karratha Regional Town Bus Service. The current contract for the provision of this service expires on the 31 December 2026 and a new contract, the subject of this Request for Tender (RFT), will commence from 1st January 2027.

The scope of services includes the following activities:

a) provision of Bus Services in the Karratha Service Area

b) maintenance of Approved Buses

c)  mechanical services;

d) collection of Gross Cash Fare Revenue on behalf of the Authority

e) meeting the obligations of the Depot Lease(s)

f) any service connected with the above or otherwise required by the Contract.

A Mandatory Briefing Depot and Bus Inspection Session will be held for all potential Tenderers. The briefing will commence at 11am on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, at the Karratha Bus Depot. 

Tenderers who fail to attend or be represented at the mandatory briefing shall be excluded for consideration under this Request for Tender.

Briefing 

A briefing session will be held at 1957 Pyramid Road, 6714, Karratha on 14 April 2026 11:00 AM.

Attendees at the Briefing, Depot and Bus Inspection Session are requested to supply their own high-visibility vests and enclosed shoes for these sessions.

Tenderers who fail to attend or be represented at the mandatory briefing shall be excluded for consideration under this Request for Tender.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
