Lease of Council land known as the Millicent Rotary Club Shed

⁠⁠⁠Wattle Range Council invites Expressions of Interest from local community service groups to enter into a ground lease for the land known as the “Millicent Rotary Club Shed” located at Allotment 3 in DP137575, off Fifth Street, Millicent, CT Volume 6316 Folio 98, Hundred of Mount Muirhead.

Applications are invited for use of the Land for community service purposes, which is consistent with use in the immediate precinct.

Interested parties will be required to complete the Expression of Interest Form and address the key assessment criteria outlined in the Information Package.

Expressions of Interest marked "Tender - Expression of Interest Lease of the Millicent Rotary Club Shed" must be lodged electronically prior to 9am Thursday, 30 April 2026, to Council's email address tenders@wattlerange.sa.gov.au

Background

Millicent Rotary ShedIn February 2026, Council received formal notification from the Millicent Rotary Club of its intention to return its Charter to Rotary International on 30 June 2026 and hand possession of the leased property back to Council. The Millicent Rotary Club advised that due to a decline in membership, it was no longer able to operate effectively. The Millicent Rotary Club will continue to operate from the site until 30 June 2026.
