Job details
The engagement of a data architect is required to provide better quality skills, labour market, VET and higher education data. This role will enable JSA to provide high-quality data to support our analytical deliverables including key insights across education, skills and the Australian labour market to inform priority Government objectives. A specialist data architecture capability is critical to ensure high quality data insights using the Person Level Integrated Data Asset (PLIDA), and other JSA data assets.
In parallel, the development of a National Skills Taxonomy requires technical data knowledge to enable alignment between education and employment systems and support future improvements. Without this capability in place, there is a high risk of fragmented, duplicative solutions that would impact JSA's ability to provide high-quality data evidence. This role will enable JSA to lay the technical foundations for long term tertiary system reform and other skills priorities. This recruitment activity may be used to fill similar vacancies at JSA for the next 12 months.
