Purpose
Council proposes to invite tenders for maintenance grading and gravel re-sheeting on Bogan Shire Council's rural unsealed roads on a as needed basis as outlined in the tender documents, for the twelve-month period: 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. This Invitation includes the Conditions of Tendering in Section 1, Conditions of Contract in Section 2, Specifications in Section 3 and the Tender Submission documents in Section 4. The form of agreement is that of a ‘standing offer’ and it does not place any contractual obligation on council to hire or engage contractors. The application is merely a statement made by a prospective contractor that they are willing to supply specified services in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein.
Specifications
General
The services include provision of maintenance grading and gravel re-sheeting at various sites throughout Council. Under no circumstances will vegetation be removed from areas outside the road reserve including vegetation located on private property. No vegetation is to be removed, cleared, damaged or destroyed without the consent of the council.
The selected Contractor will provide and maintain all equipment related to performing the services. All equipment must be appropriately presentable and comply with regulatory safety standards including Work Health and Safety, TfNSW TPR-G22 - Trucks and Plant Requirements Specification and TfNSW TS 00088:1.0 - Minimum Requirements for Contractor Vehicles
