Scope
Council (the principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced contractor, organisations or individuals to provide construction services in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFT.
The work is awarded for the contract work on a lump sum fixed price basis in accordance with the fixed lump sum provisions, not subject to Rise and Fall costs in the tender pricing schedules herein.
A more detailed brief of the extent of goods /services required by Council is set out in Section C - Specification of this tender document.
The scope of the assessment included inspecting previously identified items on the existing hazardous materials register, present in accessible internal and external areas of the site, specifically, EDP were requested to undertake the following scope for the assessment:
▪ Conduct the assessment during normal business hours whilst the site was unoccupied;
▪ Inspect the site for the following specific HBM:
• Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM); and
• Synthetic Mineral Fibre (SMF) materials.
▪ Document the nature, location and condition of the HBM and include a risk assessment and photographic evidence within a report and include an HBM Register providing full details and recommendations for any HBM at the site
