Emulsion Tank Replacement - Gwydir Shire Council

⁠⁠⁠Gwydir Shire Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to submit a quote for the supply, delivery, and installation of a 20,000L Stainless‑Steel Vertical Bitumen Emulsion Tank.

This project is a key infrastructure upgrade, focused on safe operation, reliable performance, and long‑term operational efficiency, delivered in accordance with relevant industry standards.

Scope of Works Includes:

• Custom design and fabrication of a 20,000L stainless‑steel emulsion tank
• Supply of valves, pipework, pump, heating and safety components
• Delivery, cranage, installation, and commissioning
• Completion of all required pipework, electrical, civil and concrete works
• Functional testing and handover documentation

Key Technical Features:

• ASM MT50 3‑phase pump
• Electrical controls with pendant controller
• Pressure and temperature instrumentation
• Heat trace, lagging, overflow and breather system
• Single‑element heater and ancillary accessories

• RFQ Issue Date: 24 March 2026
• RFQ Closing Date: 10 April 2026 at 5:00pm
• Submission Method: LGCA Platform only

This approach is designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and efficient procurement process while enabling suppliers to be visible to participating councils predominantly within NSW, but also nationally.

Please note: Once suppliers complete the supplier registration form, you will be sent instruction to complete a Request to Qualify (RTQ) online submission in full (7 forms) by the close date.

Important Deadline:

Suppliers are required to complete their RTQ submission via the LGCA portal for the full by 5pm AEDT Friday 10th April 2026.

Please note: The NLGSR will remain open after this date for future opportunities with other councils nationally, however, we encourage suppliers to complete their RTQ submission by the deadline to ensure they receive council panel opportunities for this RFQ.
