1 Senior Business Analyst

The Senior Business Analyst will work with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements through meetings, workshops and document analysis, identify key operational issues and opportunities for improvement, and map current and future state business processes for priority functions. The role will support the definition and baselining of business and functional requirements for planned ICT and operational changes, maintain traceability of requirements, and assist with delivery activities including preparation of acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing scenarios and issue resolution. The resource will also support project governance by maintaining delivery artefacts such as status reports, risk and issue logs and decision registers, and assisting with the use of agreed project tools and document repositories.

The engagement will also include knowledge transfer to APS staff through documentation, walkthroughs and collaborative working sessions to support capability development and reduce reliance on external resources. The expected outcome is improved process clarity, reduced delivery risk and rework, and more efficient decision making through clearer documentation and improved alignment between operational processes, project delivery and the ICT roadmap.
